I do love a good shmooze. Here at the @IMLPO member meeting and aside from a couple of tech issues everything is going according to plan!
Deleted a tweet about NASAs Space Launch System costing $4.1bn per launch because it's actually the first 4 launches that cost that. I assume that takes decade + long dev costs into account, but isn't it oddly arbitrary to spread them among 4 launches? https://t.co/VeexUGah8v

So I had this dream. I was desperate for the loo as I plummeted down a chasm only to realise I was late for the exam tomorrow & naked in front of the whole class who were chasing me & Bill Clinton through a maze in a fast car that careened off a cliff into a lake I drowned in.
Then my teeth fell out.
I met Graham on Thursday after inviting him to speak at the @IMLPO member event. The talk was brilliant and included a real-time demo of the craziness that is Companies House. https://t.co/mAdT227zJD

@FirstBSA would you mind confirming what's happening with the X6 / X7 Bus from Bristol to Clevedon. Is it true that there won't be any buses after 9pm?

Sometimes watching a very, very bad movie can be kind of inspiring.
Streaming has proved that there's a very long tail of very bad SciFi. This one is atrocious.
It's Australian and set in the Sahara.
Neither fact in itself should really be a problem. I mean, I'm sure if I could wrench my eyes away, I'd be able to think of loads of brilliant Ozzy SciFi.
[yikes. There's a man. In a room. & there's blood…And, oh, it was a hullucination]
And the Sahara. It's hard to form an opinion about whether there is too much or too little sand in the genre, but that provides an allure. Will this movie help me answer that question?
This one has 2 characters.
A rugged security character who is investigating the isolated facility and currently showing his sensitive side to the mysterious blond woman who appeared out of nowhere.
It's almost halfway through. There's been intimacy but nowhere to be seen is the massively deep hole that I'd really switched on for.
[Crawling around naked in a corridor. Zombie hullucinations. So many corridors]
Still no hole! This must be one of those movies where all the action happens at the top of the hole.
He is pretty traumatised by the hallucinations I think… Maybe he's already in the hole?
I think I need to forget about the hole.
It's basically exactly like Event Horizon set near to the top of a really deep hole.
But worse than you'd imagine.
Oh no. it's becoming properly supernatural. If I'm following this correctly, he has literally just sold his soul to the devil whose been posing as the blond woman.
The real blond woman has just hid in the kitchen unit like the children in Jurassic Park. Only not so good!
And then a really abrupt rescue for everyone involved… With rousing music. Blimey.
Later at the debrief 'the incident' is put down to – wait for it – psychedelic gasses emitted from the hole. But something isn't sitting right with our hero.
Things are getting bad. He's just been put on 'extended sick leave'.
And is still having hallucinations. Could it have been him all along?
The answer is an emphatic, maybe.
But do I care? Not enough unfortunately.
@Opticheart @pick_vic @SwipeWright I'm not religious but I teach my children not to blaspheme because I know people who are and who find it offensive. It's no skin off my nose to avoid offending people who have different beliefs. Respecting pronouns is just that.

Getting rid of annual MOTs really helps with cost of living, especially if you're in a 3-car family. And besides, vehicle safety and roadworthiness are totally subjective. As a non-car owner I really appreciate the government tinkering with the probabilities of my demise.
