Junior offspring and I were having a fab time learning about various thought experiments and then we got to Schrödinger's cat and it really freaked him out.
Am I understanding this correctly? Britain just don't want 'a level playing field'?

I wonder if the Sunk Cost fallacy applies outside business to beliefs in general? We invest emotionally into ideas which sometimes prove to be false/damaging & end up elaborately rationalising to sustain the belief. What happens when the cycle ends? https://t.co/0EDmC0vm7R

@MartinSLewis it's completely obvious in retrospect but did you know that scammers track twitter conversations with broadband providers to identify targets? Just happened to me. Don't you think companies like @virginmedia should highlight this risk to people who engage here?
@virginmedia – crazy: 2 more scam calls this morning: 1 from "BT" & 1 from 'Virgin Media' both knew my broadband is down. The 1st hung up when challenged., 2nd confessed immediately & after I suggested they might want to find a better job, asked me for one! @MartinSLewis 1/2

@EnervateShadow @HeaneyrP @GarryC1204 Well, I'd be a case in point if you'd shown me some evidence that H1N1 or Covid was a hoax. As it is the best information I can find suggests neither of them is. I guess you must have some more reliable sources I'm not aware of.
